Austrian Association for Legal Linguistics
I have been the president of the Austrian Association for Legal Linguistics since its foundation in 2017.
The AALL is a non-profit scientific organisation striving for excellence in the investigation of language use in legal contexts. The association consists primarily of scholars from legal linguistics and the legal domain. Our research focuses on theoretical and applied legal linguistics, statutory interpretation, linguistic evidence in the juridical process, speaker recognition and identification, and commentaries on legal developments.
As a member of the executive board, I am closely involved in the organisation of various academic projects and events (e.g. conferences, workshops, panel discussions). A selection of these are listed below.
